David is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate in epidemiology.  His thesis project is titled "Biomonitoring of Arsenic Species in Rural Nova Scotia Communities".  David is conducting test evaluations of arsenic tests in water and arsenic tests in body samples. He is funded through the Chemicals Management Plan which is part of a program called Sustainable Environmental Health managed jointly by Health Canada and Environment Canada.
